Enoshima Seaside Ride

JCN-organized one day cycling tour is intended to provide urban residents with an opportunity to get away and cycle along the coast, 50km south of Tokyo. It's free of charge.

MEETING POINT

At 9:30, the fountain of station plaza, north exit of Hadano Station （秦野駅）, Odakyu Line （小田急線）

CYCLING PLAN (61 kilometers)

Start riding from Hadano Station at 10:00 then get back to Hadano Station at 16:00. It's not hilly as it's only 100m climb in total. You can enjoy the scenery of the Shonan coast and Mt. Fuji - if it'll be fine - along this route.

BIKE

Bring your own. Rinko is required to bring your bike into trains.

DRINK & FOOD

Bring your own. Due to take lunch near Tsujido Kaihin Koen Park (辻堂海浜公園), 37 kilometers away from Hadano Station. There is Seiyu supermarket neighbor upon the park where you can get lunch box and some handy foods.

ACCESS

TRAIN: Hadano Station is on a Odakyu Odawara Line. It takes 62 minutes (by Rapid Express) and costs 650 yen from Shinjuku Station. Any express train stops at Hadano station as it doesn't require extra charge. (Only Ltd. Exp. Romancecar requires extra charge and usually it doesn't stop at Hadano Station.)

CAR: Take Tomei Expressway, get off at Hadano-Nakai Exit. Take Local Road 71 to the north, turn left at Shin Tokiwabashi intersection （新常磐橋）.

PARKING: You can park a car at Jusco Hadano Branch at free of charge. It takes 5 minutes by bike from Hadano Station where is a meeting place.

Support car is not available. You can use coin locker at Hadano Station.

We shall not be liable for illness, injury or death sustained on this ride.

Participants should repair their bike by themselves when it breaks down, though we JCN staffs also make concerted efforts for repairing.
