This JCN-organized One Day Tour, Ashigara in Kanagawa is intended to offer a scenic ride; cycle to the peak of Ashigara Pass overlooking magnificent view of Mt. Fuji. It is not meant for a novice cyclist. You would enjoy colored leaves.

On September 7th, Mt. Fuji Ecocyling will be held. In connection with this event, Japan Cycling Navigator offers an optional tour to cycle from Tokyo to Fuji on Saturday, September 6th, the preceding day. This is a result of the collaboration between the Foundation of Japan Cycling Association, one of the organizers of the Mt. Fuji Ecocycling event, and JCN. We'll take you from Tokyo to the foot of Mt. Fuji on the safer route that we chose for this event.

We start lobbying against legislation that allows bicycle to ride on sidewalks

The National Police Agency of Japan is going to introduce into the Diet a bill to widely apply more sidewalks to the bikes and increase the number of roadways that aren't allowed to ride a bike. If this bill passes, pedestrians are exposed to risk by bicycles and also it nullifies bike's functions and advantages. What do you think of it? We Japan Cycling Navigator strongly believe bikes should be in roadways as with cars! Thereby we have to leave sidewalks securely for pedestrians.
