I use steel toeclips made by MKS of Japan. They come in two or three sizes, I prefer the deep half clip and often wear hiking boots or shoes with them.Readily available on the internet. Check out www.alexcycles.com if you are in Japan or SJS, Wiggle in UK. Should be around $10-15 mark.Lots of stores in Japan have them , I got mine in a Montbell store in Osaka.
